Also, try to keep your action buttons in the same area of the screen so that your eye can find it easily. Now, just a few suggestions for future design - for the Remind, I love that the “R” key pulls up that option, but make it so that I can press “R” followed by “1” to get reminded in 1 day, or “R” follwed by “7” to get reminded in 7 days, etc. BRILLIANT concept, guys, but please continue to focus on making it extremely reliable if you want people to put their business email accounts on this system. It seems like these may be mapping issues, but when I hit “remind me later” and an email disappears from my inbox, I have to have 100% confidence that the email will not fall through the cracks. Yikes, what happened to those two emails? Or - Search for keywords that I KNOW are in an email and no results come up. Try again a couple of hours later and it shows me zero. This morning when I viewed my Upcoming Reminders, it showed me two emails.

But the bottom line reason that I am moving back to Mac Mail is that I don’t trust the app. You have to “X” it from the CC line and manually type it into the TO line. Or, you can’t “drag” a receipient from the CC line to the TO line. There are several other more minor issues, like sometimes the system tells me the email address of the recipient is invalid when I KNOW that it is correct. This is a known issue that they are working on. Lastly, when you report a bug and want to include a screenshot, the button to attach said screenshot DOESN’T WORK. I didn’t get the impression that they would actually fix this anytime soon. When I reported the bug, the response was that they were glad I found a work around. You have to open up the attachment in Mac Preview in order to get the print to work. Also, when you double click an attachment and then click CTRL + P to print the attachment, it PRINTS BLANK PAGES. You can imagine how incredibly frustrating this is, especially when you are trying to run a business! This issue happens about 75-80% of the time and they say it is a known issue that they are working on. I immediately ran into a few “known issues” - such as, when you reply to an email, every time you press a key, the window automatically takes you to the top of the email chain so that you CAN’T SEE WHAT YOU ARE TYPING. I purchased this app as a mail viewer for an IMAP Go Daddy email account that I use for my business. I will pay good money, and I am sure many more will too. Please - someone - build a mac mail program that renders nicely with Outlook. There are a mutitude of mail platforms and clients out there, but in business Outlook on the MS platform is still dominant - and this is where Mail Pilots performance is at it’s worst. If you want to represent yourself and your company through visual communications as a hodge-podge of randomness then pretty much any native mac mail program will do that, but Mail Pilot seems to be a little more random than most.
When I send an email to clients in the business world, I expect that my communications represents the style, formatting and quality that I strive for in the dlivery of my services and products when it arrives on their display. Mail pilot looks fabulous -on my mac display. Apart from the bugs others mention and the gltchy rendering when editing text, the mail formatting at the receivers end is at best, random. I want to love “a" native Mac email program, I really do. I wanted to love Mail Pilot, I really did.
